Conversations in Ministry Book Series
The Academy of Parish Clergy has launched the Conversations in Ministry book series to deal with issues that confront clergy in ministry today. It is written by practicing clergy for practicing clergy. Each book, published in partnership with Energion Publications, will be brief and focused (under 100 pages), and is designed to encourage reflection and conversation among clergy.
The inaugural book written by Kent Ira Groff, Clergy Table Talk: Eavesdropping on Ministry Issues in the 21st Century, covers a variety of issues facing clergy. Future books will focus in on specific issues, including use of social media, clergy ethics, congregational administration, spiritual formation, self-care, preaching, and worship leadership. Each book will include discussion questions that can aid group conversation and individual reflection.
